Adidas Response CSH-18
CSH actually stands for cushion, hopefully my spanking new pair of shoes will provide ample cushioning my runs. Having finished three marathons in not so impressive times, I’m hoping to do one sub 4 hours. The aussie climate might just do the trick although I need to put in serious hours from this week onwards. Failing which, I still can try for the december marathon but I might not be getting enough sleep once I’m back in sg.
I bought (the wife paid for it) a pair of expensive thick thorlos a few years back, but haven’t been using it because it fits too tightly to my existing shoes. When I bought the adizero, it didn’t occur to me to bring my thorlos to fit. But I guess it was a good choice as I’m worried about how the adizero will hold up in a long run and I’ve been only using it for sub 30 min runs. This time armed with my socks I went for sized 10 shoes. It felt snug on my feet but you’ll only know when you run in it.
I was quite happy with the price I paid for it. The shoes are retailing at $142 in every shop that I see, but I guess the practice in queensway is to give some discount. I didn’t even ask around but simply went to a not so crowded shop. The assistant quoted $106 (25% discount) and I was happy and paid up.

Spotted the same shoes at Queen Street retailing for 160 AUD.
