Curry Favor @ Stamford

Have walked past this place countless of times over the years, but not being a Japanese curry person and not exactly crazy about the prices here, I’ve always kept on walking. Today, we went in.

Disappointing green salad with hardly any greens. Came with my set.

My pork cutlet set (12.90++). If you were shown this picture, would you have ordered? Two small pieces of pork loin, of not exactly good quality pork. At it least it was hot. Curry was not bad though.

Her half-portion fish (9.80++), which looked much better presentation wise. I has a bite and thought it also tasted better. The half portion came with the same amount of rice and I think it is a better choice.

I wanted to say that I probably wouldn’t come back, but they gave us a $5 voucher. So maybe a quick meal another time. Decent food at slightly expensive price.

Stamford house is worth a look-see before it disappears. There are interesting furniture pieces inside.
